There are so many options, you can get lost! As much as we\u2019d love to cover all the different films and options, we are limited with time and want to focus on what we have found to be the best solutions at various price points. We <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mumsports.com\/\">offer<\/a> two kinds of window tint: 3M Crystalline and Suntek CIR.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>3M Crystalline<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>3M\u00ae\u00a0offers the best products in the window films industry. The 3M product lines perform exceptionally well. These products, comparatively speaking, are on the higher end of the price spectrum and are for the consumer that expects the best in looks, durability and performance. The 3M Crystalline Window Tint is a multi-layer coating film with 200 layers that are about as thin as a Post-It Note! This degree of thinness allows it to reject heat more than darker films. The lighter shade gives the 3M Crystalline film the ability to block more infrared light and up to 34% of heat.<img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-428 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.mumsports.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/crytalline-231x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.mumsports.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/crytalline-231x300.jpg 231w, https:\/\/www.mumsports.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/crytalline.jpg 339w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 231px) 100vw, 231px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Suntek Ceramic IR<\/h2>\n<p>The Suntek CIR is our standard go to Ceramic window tint. Suntek, being 3M\u2019s largest competitor, offers various kinds of film. For example, The CXP from Suntek is a carbon-based film and we do not used it. We found that carbon-based films interfere with electronic components and do not have very good solar performance and don\u2019t reject heat very well. This is why we went with the Suntek CIR. This type of film prevents the highest percentage of harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and infrared rays from penetrating vehicle windows, making it one of the most effective window tints on the market.
