Hello and welcome back to the MUM Sports Blog! This week we’ll be doing an examination of how Ceramic coating makes a difference on your vehicle.
What are the Benefits of Ceramic Pro Coating?
- Chemical Resistance: Ceramic Pro protects cars from damaging contaminants and harsh chemicals. There are not other technologies that offer the same peace of mind.
- UV Protection: Ceramic has the same active ingredient as sunscreen–Silk Oxide. This UV protectant protects your vehicle from aging and discoloring.

what is Ceramic Pro?
- Ceramic Pro is a surface coating product that has been developed from nano-ceramic coating technology. Ceramic Pro forms a permanent bond with the surface and does not wash off, it is a highly protective, durable coating that protects your paint and keeps your vehicle looking shiny long-term. It is applied in layers for desired level of protection, and can be applied up to 5 layers at MUM Sports.
What’s the process of Ceramic application on my luxury vehicle?
- For ceramic packages we offer a full wash, clay bar and a layer of polish to get your car ready for ceramic and as an added bonus we also ceramic all your glass and the surface of the wheels.
- Once the vehicle has been washed and cleaned properly, we begin to apply the ceramic coating, allowing each layer to cure before applying the next.
- Once all layers have been applied and cured, your vehicle is ready to go.
- Ceramic cannot be out in the rain up to 48 hours after final layer application, so if rain is on the forecast after pickup it will need to be in a covered garage.
- From there, you’re good to go!
Does Ceramic Pro wash off easily?
- No, Ceramic pro cannot be washed away, which gives it long term results. To remove, machine polish or clay bar would need to be used.
